Bertie on work experince - collecting donated hearing aids

Hearing Aid Recycling were lucky enough to have fantastic Bertie’s help for a few days. He was meant to be doing his work ecperience with a local tennis coach. Sadly a sore elbow later and tennis’ loss was definitely Hearing Aid Recycling’s gain. Thank you Bertie for being an absolute super star. We’ve forgotten the rules (we think you made them up as you went along). However, we try to replicate ‘hearing aid sorting tabletop tennis’ on a regular basis. We’re wondering if we can apply it to other commodities and patent it!?

In amongst his efforts to mould his Hearing Aid Recycling work experience into anything that you could pop the word tennis into the same sentence as Bertie found tim eto go and collect a truly fantastic donation via S&R Childs in Botley, Oxford. As our title says, then two came along at once! Two full boxes. Local audiologist Tim Johnson had cleared out his cupboards. Thank you to all of you!

Then two came along – they really did! You don’t have to be an audiologist with old spares hanging around in your cupboards. Each and every hearing aid makes a huge difference to someone. Why not look and see if we have somewhere you can drop them off like Tim did?
